Research

My laboratory combines biochemistry and structural biology to elucidate a number of biological problems.

We are currently working on the structures (cryo-EM and crystallographic) of a number of viruses, ABC transporters, carbohydrate recognition complexes, enzymes, and we are using biochemical methods to protect crops with antifungal proteins.

  1. Anti-fungal proteins

  2. Virus structure/function
  3. Glutamate Dehydrogenase and Insulin Regulation

  4. ABC Transporters
