Teams of 10-12 volunteers will, in assembly-line formation, package ingredients in small plastic bags to be sealed and delivered to sub-Saharan Africa. After going through a brief check in process upon arrival at the Center, volunteers will sanitize their hands and don a hairnet. Each volunteer will join a specific food packaging line for a one hour session which is conducted while standing (for safety reasons, there can be no sitting on the floor and there is no room for chairs or stools at the tables: you must be standing for the full duration). The ratio of adults to children will vary according to age:
In each case, no person under the age of 17 may operate the bag sealer (which requires 2 people).
